Lavagna & Cavi

The town develops in the left alluvial plain of the Entella river along the coast of Riviera di Levante, nel Tigullio oriental. Located east of Genoa, today's town develops, in addition to the historic medieval settlement, along its hinterland closed upstream by a series of hills cultivated mainly with olive groves. To the east it is divided from Sestri Levante by the Rocche di Sant'Anna. Among the peaks of the area are Mount Capenardo (693 m), Mount Costello (498 m). Lavagna, as characterized by one of the most important international tourist ports in the Mediterranean, has an important role in the territorial economy of Tigullio.  (from Wikipedia)
