Wonder – White Bird, film directed by Marc Forster, tells the story of Julian (Bryce Gheisar), a somewhat arrogant child, who at school has the reputation of being a bully, so much so that he targets anyone he sees as "different" . Because of this character, the boy is also suspended from school. The summer after this experience, Julian spends his holidays in Paris with his grandmother (Helen Mirren), who during a hot afternoon tells him a story: how as a girl she managed to escape the Nazis during the Second World War. The grandmother was a young Jewish woman, who lived in France occupied by Hitler's troops. Helping her save herself was a peer of hers, a young man named Julian, just like her nephew, who, despite suffering from deformities in his legs, managed to perform a gesture that made him a true hero.
