After a strong trauma suffered, a young girl struggles to trust others and open up to the world again, but the approaches of a kind peer of hers finally seem to make inroads in her after a long time. However, there are some mental and physical prisons that oppress us and from which it is really difficult to escape. If we are not strong enough, some of us are destined to be trapped there forever. Through an introspective narrative and a non-linear plot, "The Anomalisa Effect" is a dramatic and psychological thriller that seeks to investigate the prisons that live within us. Only by leaving our unconscious "box" can we reveal our true identity.
